2020: Implementation of RPA in business processes
On March 31, 2020 it became known that the company Teva implemented technology Robotic Process Automation (RPA) – the type of automation business processes based on use of the program robots imitating interaction of the person with information systems. Use of "smart" tools for optimization business processes allows the company to automate accomplishment of routine transactions and labor-consuming tasks in such directions as logistics, accounting, monitoring of the prices of VED and approval of interaction of doctors.
The center of robotization of processes was organized in the company headquarters in 2018 after successful implementation of automation at the French office. The same year in connection with restructuring in Teva Russia the project on business process optimization appeared. According to the results of the analysis available the best world the practician, experience of global office and also solutions of external consultants, the decision on implementation of RPA in business processes of the Russian division was made.
Together with experts of the EY company which is engaged in implementation of robotic solutions the processes suitable for digital transformation were revealed. Already at a stage of pilot start of RPA the staff of Teva began to spend for routine transactions at several o'clock a day less, having released time and forces for other tasks. Specific functional sites of logistic processes on which it was required till 3800 o'clock in a year are completely transferred to the robot, and optimization of accounting processes helps to save more than 5000 hours. The employees who are engaged in approval of interaction of doctors began to spend for one problem of 7 minutes instead of 1 hour, having saved in general 1800 hours. In plans of the company to implement RPA solutions for automation for such transactions as processing of the bank statement, PR/PO creation, delivery of accounts in ERP, etc.
