Biography

Head of the Republic of Crimea

On October 9, 2014 according to the results of vote of deputies of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea it is elected the Head of the Republic of Crimea. Made the decision on combination of a position of the Head of the Republic of Crimea and the Chairman of the board of ministers of the Republic of Crimea.

On September 20, 2019 according to the results of vote of deputies of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea it is unanimously elected the Head of the Republic of Crimea.

2017: Supreme council of the party United Russia

On January 22, 2017 it is entered into the structure of Supreme council of the party United Russia.

2019: Re-election for a post of the head of the Republic of Crimea

On October 9, 2014 the State Council of the Republic of Crimea unanimously elected the United Russia party member Sergey Aksyonov the head of the Republic of Crimea. Aksyonov left a post of the head of the Government, Yury Gotsanyuk became the chairman of the board of Ministers of the Crimea.
