"Footwear of Russia" implements a management system for the mobile devices Proget MDM

On April 3, 2020 it became known that the Footwear of Russia group completed the first stage of creation of a single system of mobile device management which allows to provide the centralized control over smartphones, tablets and data collection terminals with which employees in shops and work at warehouses of the company. The solution Proget Mobile Device Management is the cornerstone of a system, implementation performs Novosibirsk the Akstel-bezopasnost system integrator.

Obuv Rossii Group - one of operators of the Russian shoe market – began the project of creation of a single system of mobile device management in 2019 within digital transformation of business. The management system for mobile devices will provide remote control of all corporate mobile devices, including tablets and data collection terminals which are used by employees in 730 shops "Footwear of Russia" in more than 350 cities through the whole country, in warehouses and at the central office of the company.

For project implementation it was important to us to select the suitable solution which would meet all our requirements and provided necessary functionality within already existing IT infrastructure and the available park of mobile devices. The company needs to observe standards of security and personal data protection on mobile devices and also to quickly prevent and prevent attempts of plunder of corporate data. Also the management system allowed to exercise the centralized control over data collection terminals, smartphones and tablets with which employees in shops and work at warehouses of the company, – Dmitry Karpenko, the Chief information officer of Obuv Rossii Group comments

According to the results of an open tender Footwear of Russia selected the solution of Proget Software company.

Proget MDM allows the company to connect, configure, update and service far off any mobile devices of the company irrespective of their location now, this moment is especially important considering a field of activity and geography of Footwear of Russia. Various safety features allow to set as the general security policies so private for separate categories of devices, to provide data encryption and to completely monitor operation of the device. "Footwear of Russia" uses a large number of tablets in outlets that increases risks of loss of the devices given when losing – these risks are completely minimized using functions of a geolocation now, for example, the device can be blocked when moving out of limits of the set zone, and using functions of remote erasing of data and remote blocking of the device.

Works on implementation and connection are conducted in several stages, as of April, 2020 more than 1000 devices are already connected to a system.
