Permission of Ministry of Justice to participation in elections

The Ministry of Justice registered "A batch of direct democracy" of Vyacheslav Makarov, the founder of World of Tanks as having the right to participate in State Duma elections. The list of such batches published on the website of Ministry of Justice demonstrates to it. On May 25, 2020 the batch reported about it.

By May 22 we registered 43 regional departments, during the period from May 25 to May 29 we expect to receive registration of 6 more departments, comments Vyacheslav Makarov.

In addition, the batch is going to take part in September, 2020 in elections to legislative assemblies of at least 2 regions of the country — the Voronezh and Novosibirsk regions.

In 2021 we are going to participate in State Duma elections, in 2020 a by-election to Gosuduma across Yaroslavl and also in regional legislative assemblies, in municipal and city elections. "The batch of direct democracy" intends to participate in all electoral processes, reported Makarov

The first constituent congress of "A batch of direct democracy" took place on March 5, 2020. Distinctive feature of a batch, in view of a background of her creator, is the IT direction: the batch is going to create the application and the website with a possibility of an open transparent voting and also for communication between voters and party members.

Party registration

The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation registered political party of the founder of Wargaming company (the developer of the game World of Tanks) Vyacheslav Makarov — the Batch of direct democracy. It became known on April 6, 2020, and party registration took place on April 1.

According to RBC with reference to Makarov, after registration a batch will prepare for regional elections. Despite transfer of all elections and referenda because of the general mode of self-isolation, ogrkomitt batches will continue to attract to itself supporters.

For April 12 the Batch of direct democracy planned start of the website, and for September — the application for communication with supporters. In the application open dialog on any subjects which  "political force should regulate", says the statement which came to the edition will be implemented.

Details about this application are not disclosed. Earlier Vyacheslav Makarov told Kommersant that the application will be based on blockchain technology and to be applied to carrying out vote by participants of a batch. Investments into developments of the electronic platform were estimated at $1 million.

The constituent congress  took place  on March 5, 2020, then Makarov was elected the secretary general of the organization and announced that the batch will propose candidates on elections to legislative assemblies of the Novosibirsk and Voronezh regions.

Makarov  announced the decision to leave the World of Tanks project for the sake of policy  in the middle of January, 2020. According to the programmer, he realized that he will not be able to combine activity in the company with political activity. He also promised that with a game "everything will be good". The management of Wargaming made its decision.

In the Batch of direct democracy it is going to involve developers from the leading regional IT companies. In many subjects such companies  — the largest taxpayers  and to them it is well known about local problems, Makarov specified.^[1]
