In April, 2020 Kaspersky Lab knew of start of a smart floating farm in Singapore and use for its software protection.
The farm is created by Singapore Aquaculture Technologies company using technologies of the analysis of Big Data and the artificial intelligence developed in cooperation with Siemens and also the system of video analytics to watch of fishes over health and to reveal symptoms of diseases at early stages.
For protection of the intellectual platform against different cyberthreats the solution Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes is used. As noted in Laboratory of Kaspersk, this project confirms importance of cyber security not only by the industry, corporations and certain users — questions of protection of systems and data become key in each industry.
Integrating the most modern technologies, such as artificial intelligence, peripheral calculations and blockchain, Siemens helps SAT to optimize operating activities of a farm — the executive vice president of division of Siemens "Digital Industrial Enterprise" in the ASEAN region Raimund Klein says. — Use of the innovative predictive technologies, such as machine learning and video analytics, will help to predict growth of population, to prevent the outbreaks of diseases and, as a result, death rate of fishes. |
It is predicted that by 2021 the farm will deliver 350 tons of fish annually that will allow Singapore to achieve the objective – by 2030 to produce up to 30% of the consumed products within the country. Such farms of the future will help the countries to become more self-sufficient and to rely on import less.
Singapore Aquaculture Technologies emphasizes that the company develops an aquaculture on technologies which process data bulks therefore protective solutions should have high degree of reliability.[1]
