2020: Sony Bravia of XH95 and XH80 series (KD-85XH9505, KD-65XH8096, KD-85XH95)

On April 10, 2020 the Sony company announced start of sales of BRAVIA TVs of a line of 2020, including KD-85XH95 model – big 4K HDR TVs with the diagonal of the screen it is more than 2 meters.

According to the producer, in models of a line XH95 the innovative technologies of Sony on optimization of a sound and the image integrated, and the graceful frameless design of Flush Surface concentrates all attention of the viewer on content, completely submerging it in the events on the screen. The X1 Ultimate processor provides a high image quality in format 4K HDR, thanks to Object-based Super Resolution technologies (object-oriented processing of permission), Object-based HDR remaster (object-oriented correction of contrast), Super Bit Mapping 4K HDR and processing using two databases.

The X-Wide Angle technology provides brightness and realness of the image with the minimum color aberrations regardless of a viewing angle, guaranteeing at the same time richer color gamma and high brightness. Thanks to complete direct LED illumination (Full-Array LED) the illumination level in certain areas of the screen can be changed dynamically depending on content that, according to the producer, increases contrast and brightness. Thanks to exact balancing of illumination in all areas of the screen dark scenes become still nasyshchenny, and light – is brighter, in full accordance with the author's idea.

As noted in Sony, the Ambient Optimization function arranges the picture and a sound to any environment. The technology automatically changes image brightness according to lighting level indoors for optimal viewing, strengthening brightness at good light and vice versa, muffling it in the dark. The solution allows to detect surrounding objects – the curtains or furniture reflecting or absorbing sound waves, calibrating acoustics settings to avoid deterioration in a sound.

In the TV the sound Acoustic Multi-audio system which uses two loudspeakers on the back panel of the TV is applied to provide effect of complete immersion and movement of a sound depending on where on the screen there is an action. Also Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos are supported.

Support of voice actuation works with Google Assistant and more usability offers the audience "smart" functions. Just addressing directly the TV, it is possible to find and browse favourite movies, results of sports meets or a weather forecast and also to manage the TV and even all house, claim in Sony.

According to the statement of the producer, Sony BRAVIA TVs of XH80 series provide a high image quality in format 4K HDR, and their stylish design harmoniously fits into any modern interior. 4K HDR the X1 processor allows to achieve high detailing and picture contrast and also to reproduce more deep and natural colors and textures due to Object-based HDR remaster technology (adaptive HDR of remastering). The X-Balanced Speaker loudspeaker provides pure sounding, increase in its volume - a deep bass: all this in thin graceful execution (for models with diagonal from 55 inches). Also Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos is supported.

All Android- models of Sony BRAVIA TVs of a line of 2020 will work at to the operating system Android 9 Pie which through the platform provides convenient access to content, services and other devices. Expanded functions of voice actuation with support of the built-in microphone allow users to enjoy telecontent, to work with applications and attached devices without hands. Simple connection to the majority of devices: thanks to support Google Home and Amazon Alexa the user will be able to manage voice the TV for loading and video playback with YouTube using Google Home or for switching of channels and change of volume by means of devices based on Amazon Alexa. Support Apple HomeKit and Airplay 2 allows to use iPhone or other devices with Siri with the TV of Sony for convenient coordination smart house or stream transfer of content, emphasized in Sony.

KD-85XH9505, KD-65XH8096 and KD-85XH95 models are available in corporate online store since April, 2020.
