Technoserv Consulting implements a marketplace for the sale of non-core assets of VTB

On April 13, 2020, Technoserv Consulting announced the completion of the first stage of the project for the sale of non-core assets of VTB: it developed and put into operation the website of the KomisiON marketplace. The resource for April 2020 presents more than 4.5 thousand objects of non-core property for sale.

The project was a continuation of cooperation bank and "." - Technoserv Consulting IT 10 years ago, the company created from scratch, and then developed the VTB Collection system - a single platform of the bank to collect overdue debts. It is a CRM system that helps to form an effective strategy for interacting with the debtor and collecting debts. As part of the next Commission On project, it was required to ensure automatic download data of all non-core assets stored in the VTB Collection system to the bank's own site - the pledge website.

Technoserv Consulting was given the first task - to restart this platform of the bank with the expansion of its functionality and lay down the possibility of conducting all transactions online. The integration of the CRM system with the site for the sale of non-core assets of the bank took 4 months from the Technoserv Consulting team. Thanks to customized automation, information about objects for sale is uploaded to the CRM system and simultaneously synchronized with both VTB's own site and other marketplaces, for example, Cian.ru, Avito, Yandex.Real Estate.

Marketplaces are typically a front-end ecosystem integrated with CRM. The Commission ON development project is distinguished by the fact that the isolated accounting system of the bank's backbone service, which solves the problem of selling non-core objects, was able to integrate with an external site, and ensure the free selection and purchase of objects by customers. This approach to the sale of assets is rarely used in the Russian banking sector.

The project to integrate the site with the CRM system was the first step towards creating a full-fledged marketplace, the next stage will be the filling of the site with additional services: VR tours for billed apartments, the introduction of cross-links to the mortgage calculator of the bank's website, the ability to issue a mortgage application and other bank products. In the longer term - the possibility of online processing of a transaction with any object up to electronic registration of the right to real estate. The full functionality of the site will be implemented by the end of 2020, and the site itself is planned to be built into the overall ecosystem of the bank.

Creating not just a marketplace, but a solution connected to the internal CRM system in a short time was helped by effective, worked out over the years of cooperation with the customer, our own expertise and experience in product development, as well as an iterative approach to implementation. The process was time-consuming: the capabilities of already known similar sites needed to be adapted to the needs of the customer. On a Marketplace of KomissiON information on non-core property of bank and its partners is placed (the residential and commercial real estate, the land plots, cars, special equipment, the equipment, etc.). Anyone can go to the site and purchase collateral objects. For visitors to the site, it is possible to order a call back from the bank, consult on the issued asset, and apply for its purchase.
