On April 13, 2020 announced LG Display the beginning of public use of the transparent OLED displays. The South Korean television company MBC installed such screen in one of the studios for an output of results of vote on elections to the National Assembly (parliament) of the country.

General election will go to the National Assembly on April 15, 2020, however Koreans can vote in advance if they does not want or cannot make it in "normal day" of vote.

The new generation of transparent displays on organic LEDs which are developed by LG Display allows the audience to see what is behind these panels even in the included status.

LG Display and LG Electronics was provided by transparent OLED displays in 2019, but in April, 2020 there came the first time when the product is provided to general public — within the TV-show having large spectator audience.

According to developers, the transparent OLED panel offers expanded options of use of this technology, for example, for show-windows of shops and office spaces. Such displays it is possible to locate next to each other and to build big videowalls for holding the presentations and an output of advertizing.

Transparent LG Display OLED displays have the size of 55 inches, resolution capability 1920 x 1080 pixels and coefficient transparency at the level of 40%. The last indicator as declare in LG Display, is record as the LCD screens released earlier on the commercial market mattered only in 10%.

Could achieve such result in LG Display thanks to the fact that in OLED panels each pixel is highlighted independently, providing to effect of augmented reality without use of emergency devices.[1]
