In Russia telemedicine service on children's psychiatry is started

On April 10, 2020 it became known that on the platform of the Scientific and practical center of mental health of children and teenagers of G.E. Sukhareva with assistance of the Center of diagnostics and telemedicine of the Moscow Department of Healthcare (MDH) and Mobile Medical Technologies company the project on use of telemedicine technologies in the field of mental health of children and teenagers was started.

As told the Vademecum edition in the Center of diagnostics and telemedicine of DZM, within an initiative remote status monitoring of the patients who are written out on out-patient treatment is exercised, dynamics of symptoms is estimated and amendments are introduced in the program of therapy appointed at the statement from a hospital. Telemedicine consultations are held with the assistance of legal representatives of the child.

According to the director of SPC of mental health of children and teenagers of G.E. Sukhareva of Marina Bebchuk's DZM, for the first stage of implementation projects were selected the types of frustration having the smallest risk of emergence of contingencies.

Nevertheless we calculate that even on the example of such diseases it will be possible to reveal reefs and to define optimal forms of use of telemedicine technologies — she said.

Authors of the project during its implementation want to create methodology of carrying out telemedicine consultations "patient doctor" when rendering mental health services to the children's population. In particular, tasks are among development and algorithms of consultations and control of health in a remote format by September, 2020.

Also it is going to develop specific, reasonable proposals on updating of the legislation which will ensure availability, safety and quality of remote mental health services.^[1]
