In the middle of April, 2020 the Russian Railway began implementation of the Russian corporate eXpress messenger by means of which the staff of joint stock company can communicate and carry out video conferences in the company and with third parties.
The Russian Railway began to send to personnel the installation instruction and to use of eXpress on April 10, 2020. In several days passed about 8 thousand workers to this service.
Though any user can set the messenger, it has a public part opened for all and corporate where access to strangers is regulated by protocols of the company, the chief of marketing department of Unlimited Technologies company (develops eXpress) Anna Lyamina explained to the Gudok newspaper (the corporate newspaper Russian Railway).
To begin communication, it is necessary to know the cell phone of the employee or to receive the invitation. The client for access to the messenger undergoes multiple-factor identification using the phone number, an account and the user password. The company sets the telephone book of employees who are displayed at each participant of a corporate segment. There is no restriction and for the number of participants of conferences, however the possibility of their carrying out is defined by a throughput possibility of network of the organizer.
Each employee of the Russian Railway creates the personal telephone book of third-party not corporate contacts independently. If the employee he communicates with the one who is not entered in the corporate list, then data pass already through public servers.
Lyamina paid attention to presence at the application so-called a stealth mode: through the certain period set by the user, messages are removed in group chats or conferences.
According to her, it is visible when someone from users does a screenshot from the screen or records video. The organizer of a call or a conference can prohibit it.[1]
