2020: Start of shops without sellers

On April 14, 2020 it became known of opening in Kazan of shop without sellers. The outlet is started within the Digital Village project, the minister of digital development of public administration, information technologies and communication of the Republic of Tatarstan  Ayrat Khayrullin on the page in Instagram reported.

The system of face recognition is the cornerstone of work of such shop. When the person approaches to the door of shop, his face is scanned. After it can pass in a trading floor and select necessary products. A system using technologies of computer vision, will recognize as how many the buyer took. Payment is made via the special terminal by cash or the bank card.

Then to the buyer the Sms comes with the link, having passed on which, it is possible to look at the order, an account balance and the button of its replenishment. Also payment through  the linked bank card will be available.

In these realities the shop without seller is very relevant. It is great that now residents of the IT park have an opportunity by a safe method to buy necessary goods — Khayrullin reported.

The Digital Village project which shops without sellers treat includes sale of farmer products with a cashback, job search online, consultations for business and another. To the project in 2020 it is going to connect 500 villages and the villages of Tatarstan. The scope of all territory of the republic will require 15 million rubles.

According to Ayrat Khayrullin, until the end of 2020 in Tatarstan it is going to start in total eight shops with completely automatic systems of control of purchase and payment of products. By April 14 two such points — in addition to the IT park are opened, the shop works in the Fish and Suburban region of Tatarstan. Additional investments will be required, the project manager Bulat Zamaliyev emphasized.[1]
