2020: The beginning of earnings on video conferences with animals

In April, 2020 the Californian farm of Sweet Farm started the Goat 2 Meeting service intended for carrying out video conferences with animals. The unusual service began to be provided because of an acute shortage of financing and heavy expenses on contents in the conditions of COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.

Since launch of Goat 2 Meeting the company received more than 300 requests for service worth from $65 (such is the price of a 20-minute excursion on a farm for six virtual tourists) to $250 (a 25-minute corporate tour for an unlimited number of participants) depending on time and the number of participants in video conference. As participants of video chats lamas enjoy the greatest popularity, but the list also includes goats, sheep, pigs, cows and turkeys.

Also there is a free program for school students — for participation it is necessary to fill a special form on the website. Already schools from Britain and Brazil seized this opportunity.

The Goat 2 Meeting service earned after several hundred people asked to organize for them virtual tours. The purpose of this service — to lighten the mood to friends and colleagues during video calls. Among other things it helps a farm to recover partially income during a quarantine.

I think, all of us skids are strained because of the events — many of us stay at home. We just hope to raise smiles at people and "give" them on our farm — the soosnovatelnitsa of Sweet Farm Anna Sweet reported.

The farm sends all received funds for purchase of necessary goods for animals. According to Anna Sweet, her wards already appeared at meetings with projects from the list of Fortune 500 and technical startups.

The farm was initially registered as non-profit organization on rescue of animals. Its work is partially financed by visitors.[1]
