2020: Upgrade of Wi-fi of network

On April 16, 2020 it became known that visitors Moscow Domodedovo Airport can use a wireless network at a high speed in all client zones. In addition, measures of protection are strengthened from hacker attacks and Wi-Fi geopositioning function is implemented. The network underwent testing for durability during a FM of 2018 — at the peak moments more than 3,500 people at the same time used uninterrupted connection. Implemented upgrade IT- the company "Jet Infosystems".

Upgrade of Wi-fi was conducted round the clock in the conditions of constantly working airport with the minimum breaks in network functioning. Specialists Jet Infosystems laid communication lines directly during construction and repair of premises that allowed to put into operation the ready areas with already working Wi-Fi.

According to the results of the project more than 1,000 access points were united in the single network covering with a wireless internet all territory of air terminal and ten more of certain office and technical buildings. The network is separated into guest and working segments that allows not to break the protected local circuit and it is safe to work with IT services of the airport. The updated infrastructure based on the equipment and software of Cisco Systems provides connection of users at speeds up to 300 Mbit/sec.

Within the project the security subsystem based on the solutions Cisco and Check Point Software Technologies was upgraded and also the Wi-fi system of geopositioning Cisco CMX which is responsible for navigation of passengers in air terminal, timely determination of the most loaded zones and warning of formation of queues is implemented.

For April, 2020 works on digital equipment of the airport are continued. Specialists Jet Infosystems implement Jet Toolbar service for placement of add-on information units in the browser on devices of users. Besides, there is a development of the updated billing system and the portal of authorization of users together with "Inlayn Telecom of Solyushens".

The portal will open access to numerous services of the airport and aero carriers in the mode of one window. There will be a possibility of payment of services by means of bank cards and Yandeks. Kassa service. Also in plans integration of mobile application of Moscow Domodedovo Airport with the system of authorization in Wi-Fi-network and service of geopositioning in air terminal.
