OSSIM (Open Source Security Information Management) integrates several tools open source – Arpwatch, P0f, Pads, Nessus, Snort, Spade, Tcptrack, Ntop, Nagios, OCS-NG, OSSEC – and complements their functionality with a user-friendly interface, reports and an incident management system.
OSSIM allows to watch nodes in network and their interaction, to receive the report on the anomalies revealed in a system, for example change of the MAC address, change of the version of OS or service.
OSSIM allows to get rid of need to independently integrate different tools, allows to obtain evident information on what events connected with security, happen in network.
