2020: Representation of service of recognition of signs COVID-19
On April 17, 2020 Rostelecom announced development of a prototype of service of recognition of symptoms of a coronavirus (COVID-19) according to x-ray images of lungs. Service works based on a radiological information system in which x-rays accumulate. The technology can be used for operational identification of symptoms of an infection and acceptance of urgent measures.
The radiological information system allows to automate work of radiological service, to organize remote work and carrying out remote consultations on the analysis and the description of diagnostic tests — regardless of the location of specialists. Use of the solution will also help to create data array for carrying out screening of different pathologies, including recognition of signs of COVID-19.
For April, 2020 Rostelecom together with RTK Radiology company and ANO Innopolis University carries out in regions pilot tests on automatic image understanding using artificial intelligence.
Based on approbation the technology as a component of automation of radiological service will be included in structure of a single digital platform of health care in which development and deployment in the subjects of the Russian Federation the Digital Medical Services company (joint venture of Rostelecom and State Corporation Rostec) is engaged
