Rostec and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation will be engaged in digitalization of agriculture

2020: Agreement on digitalization of agriculture

On April 17, 2020 the State Corporation Rostec reported that together with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation signed the agreement on interaction in the field of implementation of digital technologies in agro-industrial complex.

The document provides joint project implementation, directed to digitalization of the agricultural industry, stimulation of development of public-private partnership and also increase in the export potential of agro-industrial complex of Russia.

An agreement was signed by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture RUSSIAN FEDERATION Olga Gatagova and the industrial director of a radio-electronic cluster of State Corporation Rostec Sergey Sakhnenko.

Potential for digitalization in agriculture ⎼ one of the highest among all branches of the economy. About 70% of farms of the USA, Canada, Western Europe already use "smart" technologies for agriculture. In Russia demand in this sphere only forms. For obtaining the maximum effect it is important to implement not the separate systems, but complete solutions on process automation in agro-industrial complex. It will give synergy effect and will promote performance improvement of agriculture,

Among technologies of Rostec which can be implemented in the Russian agrarian and industrial complex, ⎼ software packages for management of farms, the robotic systems, pilotless agricultural machinery, monitoring of objects of agriculture using drones, technologies of exact agriculture based on Internet of Things.

As a part of Rostec of development for digitalization of agriculture conduct the enterprises of a radio-electronic cluster entering into holdings "Ruselectronics", "Schwabe" and Avtomatika concern.
