In the middle of April, 2020 it became known of the decision of the government of Murmansk region to buy electronic bracelets for control of infected with a coronavirus COVID-19. About 1.5 million rubles are selected for these purposes from a reserve fund.

According to Interfax with reference to the resolution, the government of the region published in the official electronic bulletin, technical means and the equipment for remote monitoring of observance by patients of the mode of self-isolation will be purchased. It is going to buy 120 bracelets of Bluetooth tag on a thong, 300 spare thongs and the 30th additional Bluetooth sensors.

Devices it is developed by the Voronezh company Ftnet together with the European Teltonika. Ftnet also provided technical solution for the organization of monitoring. This solution includes installation of sensors in the dwelling of the patient, informing the authorities if he left it or removed the tracker and also maintaining the diary of temperature and change of symptoms.

Trackers for tracking of patients with a coronavirus in Murmansk region will be equipped with the special disturbing button, having clicked which, the patient can contact the doctor.

According to developers, electronic bracelets it is more reliable than other solutions of protection against sabotage of a quarantine through cellular operators as violators can leave phones at home or use additional SIM cards.

In addition to Murmansk region, other regions became interested in bracelets for control of the infected COVID-19, Among them — the Omsk, Novosibirsk, Sverdlovsk regions, the Republic of Tatarstan, Khakassia and Udmurtia.

As of April 16, 2020 in Murmansk region 318 cases of a coronavirus are confirmed. From the total number of the diseased 21 patients recovered, and  one — died.[1]
