Biography

Worked at Ukraine in the period of Yushchenko. At Saakashvili in Tbilisi headed political department of embassy and was engaged in strategic planning. Later it was transferred to Moscow on the Charge d'Affaires ad interim position.

Fisher was trained as the person duplicating the ambassador in case of gain of the conflict between Moscow and Washington and a response of the ambassador of the USA.

Besides, Fisher coordinated work with opposition, regions, the political organizations.

Was responsible for collecting and the analysis of materials concerning policy of Moscow with Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova.

It is transferred in Washington to a position of the assistant to the Deputy Secretary of State and curator of the direction Belarus- Poland Ukraine- Georgia.

Julia Fisher is known as the diplomat with communications in the American intelligence agencies.

Fisher is characterized as a tough orgovik, the supporter of a power rate.

Fisher does not hide need of creation of a sanitary cordon around Russia at all.

The opponent of consolidation of Belarus with Russia.

2020: Appointment as the ambassador of the USA in Belarus

In April, 2020 Julia Fisher is appointed the ambassador of the USA in Belarus.

The decision on its appointment came at the end of 2019 against the background of failure of the president of Belarus A. Lukashenko from implementation of the idea of creation of the Union State with Russia.

The Secretary of State Pompeo personally in February, 2020 approved the Fisher's appointment with Lukashenko and Mackay.

During Pompeo's meeting with Lukashenko, the Secretary of State characterized Fisher as the representative with large powers and a personal communication channel of Lukashenko with Washington.

Lukashenko then promised all assistance and the Fisher's support in Minsk. And also noticed that waits from future ambassador for the plan of the advanced actions for gain of sovereignty of Minsk and protection against the Russian aggressive plans.
