2020: Arenadata DB implementation

Х5 Retail Group — the retail multiformat company began to use the solution with open code for analytical processing large volumes of data of Greenplum which became the basis distributed DBMS Arenadata DB (ADB).

The purpose of use of ADB in X5 Retail Group was very practical: the retailer needed MPP the database which would maintain a heavy load from users. The normal database was not able to cope with such pressure.

Using ADB, X5 Retail Group is going to analyze all main domains of data in retail: goods, checks, clients, partners.
