2020: Implementation of Arenadata Hadoop and Arenadata DB

The Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation pays special attention to problems of creation of digital infrastructure for support of audit and analytical activity. Helps to solve them to Accounts Chamber Arenadata: within cooperation two tools developed by the company — Arenadata Hadoop and Arenadata DB are used.

The concept of digitalization of Accounts Chamber includes development of a number of important services for users (employees and heads) whose work is constructed on data. One of them — the Digital inspector who will help users with the mode of "one window" to receive the most various data arriving from different information systems on objects of check.

The Accounts Chamber was not going to build bulky relational super-base as it should operate with data from absolutely different sources not compatible among themselves. It was promoted also by lack of requirements to very big efficiency of results. The storage of "crude" data on Arenadata Hadoop into which the copies of sources transformed to the JSON format are loaded is as a result constructed. Files of the JSON format are selected because of their independence of structure of a source.

The scale of the project of Accounts Chamber occupied 36,000 man-hours, and in its framework it was succeeded to reduce labor costs by creation of reports on some subjects to control approximately for 70%. Thanks to "the lake of data" the Accounts Chamber conducts a pilot project Digital department and creates different analytical models.
