2020: Beginning of production of sparkling paracetamol

On April 24, 2020 it became known that "PFK Updating" started production of a special dosage form of paracetamol which analogs for April, 2020 are not present in Russia.

The company developed special technologies for pressing of sparkling paracetamol. "PFK Updating" — production which could master this technology. This dosage form works up to 3 times quicker than classical paracetamol that is crucial in need of the emergency removal of temperature.

Start of production of paracetamol of a sparkling dosage form demanded more than 3 years of work on technology. In development (a complex of production, technical, technological solutions) more than 200 million rubles were invested.

Advantage of soluble paracetamol in the speed of achievement of effect. This dosage form is taken in the liquid state, respectively, medicinal substance is inhausted quicker and its maximum concentration can be reached in the 10th minute from the moment of acceptance. We finished this technology literally in March, 2020. And it gives us not a just better tablet, with its help we increase performance. We did not stop and we are not going to stop production of any medicine, including paracetamol, told the CEO "PFK Updating" Vladlen Kalustov

The monthly need of paracetamol for the Russian Federation makes about 5 millions packages, and peak requirement in March, 2020 reached triple values against the background of a pandemic of a koronavirusny infection. In 3.5 months 2020 the company implemented more than 5.5 millions packages of paracetamol, i.e. every 3rd packaging in the country — is 40% more, than a year ago.

The release of medicinal products by the enterprise in general reached a gain of 20%, in comparison with the same period of 2019. In industrial release more than 30 drugs are injected.

For the pharmaceutical companies medicines VED mostly are not profitable, and some large producers reported earlier that they can refuse production of some of them. In "PFK Updating" specified that such medicines really do not bring considerable income, but are not ready to refuse them. The list of these medicines includes also a large amount of cardiomedicines without which it is difficult to provide life not only in the period of a pandemic.
