"Maylan Farma" uses a corporate portal for activity automation

On May 7, 2020 it became known that the Mailang of Pharm (Mylan Pharma) company began to use a corporate portal for activity automation. The corporate portal integrated hundreds of employees of Mailang Pharma LLC – the Russian division entering into the international Mailang group, one of the largest world pharmaceutical groups (top-50). In Russia to Mailang Pharma LLC it is provided in 42 cities.

Since 2016 the company conducts works on development and development of a corporate portal which integrated in itself(himself) functions of an electronic document management system and partially the ERP system. The geography of offices "Maylan Farma" covers all territory of the country – from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok therefore it was necessary to organize, first of all, convenient space for interaction of employees from 11 time zones and to provide the structured storage of corporate information. The main objective of the project was to provide to the management the flexible analytical tool for obtaining information on budgeting and an expense of means and also to reduce time of approval and to increase control of the movement of documents.

By the time of the beginning of cooperation with the developer company Digital Design who joined work on the project in 2017 in Maylan Farma the basic functionality of the portal was already partially implemented. At the first stage of cooperation it was finished and also the changes connected with input of additional functionality and updating of business processes were made. As premises to completions also change of internal processes of the organization in connection with entry of the company into group Mylan served. In the organization there were new standards which needed to be reflected in a system and also tasks and requirements of business.

Ensuring end-to-end process of document flow became an important project deliverable – beginning from approval of the budget for year and finishing with signing of the contracts on expenses and the subsequent entering into a system of the closing documents. The portal includes also matching unit of expense reports and business trips, requests for products, the block of work with partners and other modules. Within the project on development of the portal specialists Digital Design also made completion of a system regarding analytics of a marketing activity.

Much attention is paid to convenience of work of users on the portal: specialists Digital Design were faced by a task to pay special attention to the interface of the portal and to turn a system into the intuitive tool for employees. For convenience of users on the portal document templates are also placed.
