At the beginning of April the Vingroup corporation signed the license agreement with the American company Medtronic US, one of global manufacturers of the medical equipment, on use of their construction of the portable Puritan Bennett 560 (PB560) ventilator and switched the VinSmart and VinFast plants to production of the medical equipment.

On the basis of the patent the Vietnamese producer assembled several own versions of devices. The Vsmart VFS-410 model is the updated VFS-310 option, the invasive IVL on the basis of turbine technology developed by engineers of Vingroup based on the project of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The model is equipped with sensors which control oxygen level in blood and warn about changes of pressure at the end of an exhalation. And, above all, they are independently synchronized with breath of the patient. It is very compact and easy ventilator which can be used in ambulance cars and in case of emergency on site incidents, and after a pandemic the device is useful also in hospitals.

VSmart VFS-510, the advanced version of Puritan Bennett 560 — an easy portable device for artificial ventilation of lungs with 6 configured modes which approach both to adults, and children for whom both invasive, and noninvasive support of breath is necessary.

The Vietnamese giant sends one and a half thousand invasive devices to Russia: 1000 units of the Vsmart VFS-410 model and 500 units — Vsmart VFS-510. On these devices it is possible to write with complete confidence "it is made in Vietnam" as up to 70% of component parts are made directly in the country. Approximate delivery date — from May 15 to August 30, 2020.
