History

2025: Opening of a 10-storey surgical building of a cardiocenter in Ufa for ₽2,6 billion

The surgical building of the Republican Cardiocenter To Ufa was commissioned on June 10, 2025. A new ten-story facility with a total area of ​ ​ 32 thousand square meters. m includes 10 high-tech operating rooms and resuscitation departments. The opening ceremony in the format video conference was held by the President, Russia Vladimir Putin stressing the importance of the facility for the development of the system health care in the region.

According to BashInform, the construction of the medical facility began in July 2019. Financing was carried out from the budget of Bashkortostan. The new building houses a reception department with diagnostic rooms, a polyclinic, departments of X-ray surgery and cardiac surgery, a sterilization complex and an administrative unit.

President Putin noted the importance of creating a modern cardiological center for the development of medicine in the republic and the country. According to him, the ten-story surgical building, where the most complex operations on the vessels and the heart are carried out, represents an extremely important object in terms of healthcare development.

The head of state stressed the need to pay special attention to feldsher-obstetric stations. Putin called on regional leaders to continue work on the repair and construction of new FAPs, attracting specialists and creating appropriate conditions for them, primarily housing.

The head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov called the new building the completion of the formation of a complete system for combating cardiovascular diseases. According to him, the system includes a cardiocenter, regional vascular centers, rural medical outpatient clinics, clinics and FAPs.

Khabirov said that more than 2,000 feldsher-midwife stations operate in the republic. For six years, with the support of the Ministry of Health of Russia, 500 FAPs were replaced with new ones. All institutions entered a single digital circuit, which allows you to shoot an electrocardiogram in the most remote settlement and send data to the regional vascular center.

Construction began in 2019, and initially the object was supposed to be commissioned in 2021. However, the contractor - the company "Firm SU-10" - did not cope with the deadlines. Then the cost of the project was estimated at 2.6 billion rubles.[1]
