2022: Robotization of Direct Indemnity Business Process

Ingosstrakh"" together with IT the -company First BIT"" implemented project on the basis of robotizations business process direct indemnity on the basis of the platform. PIX RPA The company PIX Robotics announced this on June 23, 2022.

To implement process automation projects, Ingosstrakh considered several domestic vendors with extensive experience and successful import substitution cases. First Bit experts have proposed the PIX RPA platform from PIX Robotics as the most suitable for safety, stability, cost and functionality.

Ingosstrakh has many different business processes, one of the main ones is direct compensation for losses. The process itself is as follows: after the repair car insurance , the company of the culprit ROAD ACCIDENT receives an invoice for payment. Payment takes place automatically according to the Direct Indemnity Agreement. The company that paid for the repair has the right to check the correctness of the amount presented and the completeness of the documents from the service station. If errors are detected, a request is sent for a refund of the overpaid amount with a fine.

Before robotization, control over this process was carried out by a department of 10 people. The volume of requests to the company for direct compensation for losses is huge, while high-quality processing of all requests requires significant human resources. Now this process is robotic and takes much less time, simplifying the work of Ingosstrakh employees.

The main task of the robot is to check the correctness data and attached documents. To do this, RPA launches - OCR a program for recognizing text from scanned documents. With the help of the program, he recognizes the certificate from the service station and checks that the amount indicated in the application is correct and corresponds to the real amount of repairs from the certificate. In addition, it is checked that the composition and quality of the attached documents meets the requirements, for example, with PDFfile the name "act" - this is not just a white sheet. If the application for some criteria does not pass the check, then the robot makes a written request and sends it to the mail responsible employee from the side of the second insurance and puts it in a copy of the Ingosstrakh employee. The robot receives the list of addressees from the register of participants in the VED agreement from the PCA website. If the process passed without errors, the robot completes the processing of the application, indicating that no violations were found.

The robot interacts with systems about 10 times faster than humans and is able to process applications around the clock. The robot in Ingosstrakh has been working for 2 years, processing several thousand applications a week, while about 70% of them do not require human attention.

The goal of the project was achieved - the threshold value of automatic inspections without human participation made it possible not only to unload personnel from the routine and switch them to other important tasks, but also to fundamentally increase the number and quality of inspections themselves.
