2020: Honor ViewPad 6 announcement - the world's first tablet with 5G and Wi-Fi 6 + support

On May 19, 2020, Huawei introduced, according to the company, the world's first tablet computer with simultaneous support for mobile 5G networks and Wi-Fi 6 + wireless communication technology with a bandwidth of 160 MHz. The manufacturer's range was supplemented by the Honor ViewPad 6 model.

The novelty received a 10.4-inch display with a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels and a 100 percent coverage of color space. sRGB The screen occupies 84% of the face of the device. The hardware basis of the gadget is 7-nm, and processor HiSilicon Kirin 985 operating system Android 10 with the brand user shell Magic UI 3.1 is responsible for software control.

Honor ViewPad 6 has a 13-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. The battery capacity is 7250 mAh, there is the possibility of fast charging (22.5 W power) through the USB Type-C port.

The tablet is compatible with the Honor Magic Pencil electronic pen, which is configured with 4096 degrees of sensitivity that differ in the force of pressing on the display. Such an accessory should arouse interest among artists, designers and everyone who likes to draw and write by hand. By the way, the kit will include a mechanical keyboard connected through Bluetooth.

The launch of Honor ViewPad 6 sales  is scheduled for June 2020. Russia was among the first markets where this product will be sold.^[1]
