2020: Start of a system of ultrafiltration of a river water

On mini-COMBINED HEAT AND POWER PLANT plant "Sveza" in Manturov the system of ultrafiltration of a river water is started. Equipment installation allows not only to prolong repeatedly life of technology equipment, but also to prevent possible accidents. It is especially important as in cold season of mini-combined heat and power plant heats apartment houses in the city. It became known on May 22, 2020.

Start of a modern system of ultrafiltration of a river water

The autonomous small combined heat and power plant (mini-combined heat and power plant) at manturovsky plant of Sveza for May 202 years has with a thermal power of 36 MW and with an electric power of 4 MW. Its feature is that it allowed to transfer plant to so-called economy of a closed loop: generation of thermal and electrical energy happens due to processing of self-produced by-products.

For heat generation and electricity the intake of water is carried out from the river Unzha. Its quality strongly depends on a weather factor. The physical and chemical players can be changed during different seasons. Especially significantly water quality decreases during the flood periods.

The essence of a system of preliminary water purification is that the river water under pressure is pressed through via 6 semipermeable membrane modules. The size of openings of membranes is from 0.1 to 0.01 microns.

The water ultrafiltration unit actually deletes the weighed and organic substances, delays 99.99% of viruses and bacteria. Multistage membrane cleaning practically excludes chromaticity of water. Based on balancing and commissioning it became clear that the turbidity of water decreased by 25 times. The specialized index of turbidity of NTU water in the river Unzha makes about 25 units. After passing of liquid through the system of ultrafiltration NTU decreases to 1 unit. Ultimate capacity of a system of water purification reaches 80 m ³ per hour.

Investments into the project made 16.8 million rubles. Supply of equipment and installation were executed by the KF-Centre company affiliated to the known European SIA Karme Filters brand. In spite of the fact that works were performed by the contractor against the background of COVID-19 pandemic, it did not affect quality and delivery time of the equipment and installation works.
