MyOffice and EOS Group: Editing files

2020: Announcement of the module "Editing Files"

On May 25, 2020 New cloud technologies companies and Electronic Office Systems announced start of commercial operation of a joint product — the module "Editing Files" which was created by EOS Group within technology partnership with MyOffice using a complex of means for developers "MyOffice SDK".

As it was reported, the module is intended for users of an electronic document management system of EOS Group "CASE". Using this optional component becomes possible to create and edit text and tabular documents in EDMS using programs of MyOffice. Users of the module "Editing Files" do not need to purchase additional licenses on desktop editors of MyOffice.

Technology, interaction of EDMS EOS Group "DELO" and the office software of "MyOffice Standard" is implemented by means of use of components of the MyOffice SDK which provide seamless data transmission between EDMS and editors of MyOffice.

The module provides two operation modes — both transactions in EDMS, and an opportunity for work with files on local computers are available to the user. In the first case the document does not change the arrangement in EDMS — the user addresses function in a system which starts the MyOffice Text or MyOffice Table application. When closing applications of MyOffice, the edited document automatically is loaded in EDMS and with it it is possible to conduct further work within the existing process of passing of stages of approval (workflow). At the same time the document created in editors of MyOffice resides under control of EDMS.

In case of need, the user of EDMS with the module "Editing Files" can separately start editors of MyOffice for work with text and tabular documents on the local computer regardless of connection to the Internet. Such requirement can arise at a stage of preliminary preparation of the file before loading in EDMS, or for creation of any other user documents.

The module "Editing Files" — optional addition for an electronic document management system of EOS Group "CASE". For May, 2020 the existing operators of EDMS EOS Group "DELO" can purchase the module separately, and those customers who do not use EDMS EOS Group "DELO" will need to book at first requirements analysis, audit of internal business processes and to create technical specifications on creation of EDMS.

The module "Editing Files" for May, 2020 is compatible to different operating systems, including, to domestic Viola OS, Astra Linux, ROSA and other products based on Linux.
