League of Rates increased security of the applications using Solar appScreener

Bookmaker League of Rates uses the solution of Solar appScreener for verification of the applications on vulnerabilities and not declared opportunities (NDV). The company notes functionality of the analyzer and technical support of the solution. On May 26, 2020 Rostelecom-Solar reported about it.

In the middle of 2019 BK League of Rates made the decision on need of verification of the applications on existence of vulnerabilities and NDV and carried out contrastive analysis of all code analyzers presented at the Russian market. As a result the company selected Solar appScreener thanks to an optimal ratio of quality of work of a product and its cost and also existence of the Russian-language technical support not available from solutions of a number of foreign vendors.

For the end of May, 2020 of BK League of Rates uses the analyzer Rostelecom-Solar for search of vulnerabilities as in internal services – the systems of accounting, management of access rights, internal portals, and in external – in particular, in mobile user applications.

At the first stage we decided to test a system on the existing services developed for the company. Under scanning get both the current releases of software, and preparing for release of the update. So far we use Solar appScreener as a searching tool of vulnerabilities in our software. However we constantly improve quality of the development therefore, perhaps, in the future we will be engaged in creation of process of safe development with attraction of examination of supervisory centers of security of software,

In terms of functionality of the analyzer in BK to League of Rates noted a scope of supported languages of programming, quality of detection of vulnerabilities and low interest of false operations.

The importance of security of bookmaker applications, in particular user, it is difficult to revaluate. They operate both with personal data of fans of rates, and their payment information.
