On May 26, 2020 it became known that Sberbank begins to install automatic post offices in the departments. By the end of December about 10 thousand units of such equipment against 1 thousand to the middle of summer are going to unroll. The State Bank attracted subsidiary company to this project — Sberlogistika.
As the representative of Sberlogistika told Kommersant, automatic post offices will be placed in branches of Sberbank in 800 cities. Part of them will appear in a zone of round the clock available ATMs. Also the company intends to install in 2020 2 thousand terminals in retail chain stores of Dixy.
Creation of one automatic post office costs the company approximately 130 thousand rubles, the partner of Data Insight Fedor Virin estimates. So investments of Sberlogistika only into the equipment for the project with Sberbank can make 1.3 billion rubles.
The market participants polled by the edition say that in the conditions of limited, entered in Russia because of COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, growth of number of deliveries via automatic post offices decreased. Interlocutors estimate the amount of the Russian market of automatic post offices at 15-20 thousand pieces.
The market will grow together with transfer of the main purchases of consumers from offline in online therefore the more players postamatny networks, the better will develop, the development director of affiliate logistic programs in Ozon Denis Dyachenko is optimistic.
May, 2020 expansion of networks of automatic post offices declines with strong advancing of forecasts, the CEO of "Infoline-Analitiki" Mikhail Burmistrov says. To Sberlogistika in this plan it will be simpler, considering network of Sberbank, he considers. According to the expert, the company in case of accomplishment of plans will fight for leadership in number of automatic post offices with Ozon, and on the horizon of five-six years the market can reach 100 thousand devices.[1]
