2020: Ensuring service of the VIDEOCONFERENCING equipment of Poly
On June 1, 2020 the company "Technoserv", one of the Russian system integrators, announced accomplishment of service maintenance of the equipment of audio and video conferences for Situational analytical center Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation SATs Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation(Federal State Budgetary Institution).
Services of service maintenance of the equipment of audio and video conferences (VIDEOCONFERENCING) of Poly (before Plantronics and Polycom) appear since 2012 till present. Their purpose – support of stable operation of the equipment of the VIDEOCONFERENCING multipoint geographically distributed network with the centralized server management.
The system of a video conferencing consists of two circuits: a system, internal with a possibility of use, from jobs of officials of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and an external video conferencing with a federal executive authority, the energy industry and SATs Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation organizations. Work is conducted in the procedural, debugged mode in the active diagram.
Technoserv participated in creation of VKS of organization and now gives the qualified service support. Our company has experience on creation and technical support of similar complexes and at other big customers from the public and financial sector. Existence of VKS allows our many customers to continue to solve production problems in the conditions of remote work because of a coronavirus, noted Dmitry Butorin, the director of the department of work with industrial enterprises of Technoserv company.

In particular, the duties of integrator include ensuring failure handling in work of a complex of audio and video conferencing of organization, and if necessary accomplishment of repair services and providing full-function replacement of the failed equipment for this time. Diagnostics of the VKS complex is quarterly carried out and it is regular – installation of updates and a software setup (in process of their emergence on the website of vendor). In working time information support is performed, including operational telephone consultations on a configuration of the equipment and the software and also on all questions concerning recovery of functionality of the serviced equipment and the software are held. Besides, Technoserv submits to the customer of the recommendation about optimization of the VKS system and service of a complex in the current configuration.
