At the end of May, 2020 X5 Retail Group completed the first stage of the project on connection of lessors and suppliers of utilities to the system electronic document management (EDMS). The retailer is going to refuse completely paper documentation by 2021.
Thanks to the project which implements Tensor company more than 13 thousand lessors and suppliers of utilities of Pyaterochka shops can provide acts, reports of the committent and other legally significant documents in electronic form now. It is supposed that transition to electronic document management will make exchange of documents more transparent, will accelerate their receiving, so and payment for the services of suppliers.
Connection of suppliers began. X5 Retail Group sends invitations to electronic document management: it is enough to lessors to treat it in the nearest branch or office of partners of GSI (network of business communications and exchange of electronic documents between the companies, state agencies and ordinary people).[1]
As reported on the website X5 Retail Group, the company is a market leader of retail on implementation of new types of EDI documents (Electronic Data Interchange) and to the daily amount of electronic document management. Implementation of automatic exchange of invoices became one more step to cooperation quality improvement, simplification and increase in speed of work with suppliers.
The EDI provider acts as the service intermediary who provides consultation of suppliers, setup of an electronic document management system, its testing. Considering that the accounting systems of the buyer and supplier can differ considerably, the EDI provider provides control and reliability of the transferred data.
By the end of May, 2020 such EDI providers as Foraprom (LeraData platform), Cislink (CISLINK platform), Elektronnye Kommunikatsii LLC (EVOLUTION-3.0 platform) cooperating with X5 Retail Group take part in exchange of electronic invoices.
