The Uralsib bank completed a pilot project on automation of planning of AHR

On June 3, 2020 it became known, bank URALSIB as the company Intersoft Lab successfully completed the pilot project on automation of planning of the administrative expenses (AE) executed based on the application "Budget of household expenses" of a line managerial SOFTWARE for financial a vertical "Circuit".

Began the implementation of an end-to-end system of budgeting of AHR planned for 2019-2020, URALSIB Bank with a pilot project. Check of adequacy of functional mechanisms of the selected software to a technique of budgeting of Bank and a preliminary estimate of benefits from automation of budget processes became its purposes. As the most difficult and powerful part of the estimate of Bank is the IT budget, for "piloting" the problem of planning of the budget of the Block of Banking Technologies (BBT) was selected.

The stage of "piloting" included inspection and formalization (the description in terms softwares) techniques of planning of AHR, setup of a planning module as a part of the Budget of Household Expenses application, initial loading in DB applications data on economic agreements of Bank, user training and test preparation of the budget of BBT.

During testing in which over 100 employees of Block of banking technologies and Financial and analytical service participated according to the set regulations of planning preparation and approval of the budget regarding IT expenses of Bank was executed. Reconciliation of the budget of BBT prepared using the application with the estimate of IT expenses received on the technology accepted in bank confirmed its correctness.

In plans of credit institution – in the current year to automate control of execution of the economic estimate and to continue development of schedule system on the basis of the selected software further to provide support of budget campaigns on the scale of all Bank URALSIB.

Based on the pilot it is possible to speak about correctness of the solution to use the specialized software product for automation of the estimate. We were already convinced that with new software planning process and approvals of the economic estimate will become transparent, harmonious and effective – the tool allows to trace quickly as the time limit of planning is observed, both, thus, if necessary reasonably and quickly to take measures to eliminate delays, - Mikhail Shelemetyev, the Head of department of Budget Control and Purchases, Financial and analytical service, PJSC URALSIB BANK speaks
