2020: Start of a marketplace for builders

On June 4, 2020 Sberbank announced start of a marketplace for builders. New service allows to find the developer for project management or the investment attraction.

The builder can find in "A personal account of the builder" which is available in the Sberbank Business Online system to find partners from among development companies of the federal level having necessary experience and resources. To use this service, the client needs to submit the credit application for project financing.

Sberbank started a marketplace for builders

The vice president, the director of the "Credit Products and Processes" division of Sberbank Sergey Bessonov called a new digital product unique for the Russian market.

He helps to receive financing and to successfully complete the project even to those builders who have no experience of implementation of similar projects or sufficient volume of own means — he said.

The representative of Sberbank reminded that earlier to builders who were going to attract the partner to implementation of the projects and also developers who were ready to invest partially means in projects  of other builders or to participate in projects on the principles  of fee-development, it was necessary to hold a large number of negotiations and to move over the country in search of interesting offers.

According to Bessonov, Sberbank carefully approaches a question of the choice of the partner for a marketplace — him can become only that developer who proved in the market and can undertake a role  of the fee-developer or co-investor for those clients of Sberbank who address for project financing.

Co-investors and  fee-developers can use different forms of participation in projects of builders. Sberbank does not limit a form and a condition of agreements of two parties.^[1]
