2020: The announcement of a boundary cloud platform of a 5G for the health care industry

On June 3, 2020 the ZTE Corporation company announced start, joint with China Mobile, in China of a boundary cloud platform of a 5G for medical services. Information and communication infrastructure of a 5G of the next generation for clients from the medical sphere represents an intellectual boundary cloud platform with the integrated architecture of cloud network.

According to the company, development using technologies of a 5G segmentation and boundary calculations will be able to meet all complex of basic requirements to network connection, computing transactions, storage, intermediate services, maintenance and security of applied scenarios in the medical environment, having provided to clients the managed and controlled integrated cloud services.

The peripheral cloud of a 5G unrolled on user side allows to reduce a network route and to considerably lower delays of network interaction. Besides, reliability of connection characteristic of private 5G networks gives the chance to implement applied scenarios in the medical industry, including solutions for remote diagnostics and surgery, AI support, m-Health and accomplishment of surgeries under the leadership of the experienced instructor.

The medical peripheral cloud of a 5G opens access to implementation of management tools Big Data in health care. The applied medical systems in a peripheral cloud are capable to connect quickly with each other that allows to perform flexible transactions of calculations, storages and managements of the data which are in them.

The 5G boundary cloud platform also cuts down expenses on informatization of medical services by means of the centralized cloud deployment of the various applied systems. Old strategic partners ZTE and Institute of industrial researches China Mobile in Chengdu founded joint Laboratory of a 5G innovations for profound studying of industry network technologies and MES (boundary calculations with multi-station access). Besides, ZTE and Institute of industrial researches China Mobile studied applied scenarios of their application in health care and other spheres, including also a peripheral medical cloud of a 5G.

The 5G boundary cloud platform from China Mobile will accelerate process of large-scale implementation of the smart solutions for medical institutions developed to telecommunication operators of China and also will promote complex informatization of the industry of health care.
