2020: Receiving a grant on implementation of "end-to-end" digital technologies
On June 11, 2020 the Skolkovo Foundation reported that the Abinsky Electric steelworks (AEMZ) received a grant from fund on implementation of "end-to-end" digital technologies in the Management system and end-to-end control of production assets during release of metallurgical products.
Within the AEMZ federal project "Digital Technologies" won tender of Skolkovo Foundation on providing a grant on implementation of a pilot project "A management system and end-to-end control of production assets during release of metallurgical products". The agreement on selection of a grant was signed [Kayem_kirill|the Senior vice president for innovations of Skolkovo Foundation Kirill Kai]] and the CEO of AEMZ Nikolay Besedin. The grant will cover up to 50% of a cost for implementation of a complex of digital solutions on process automation of end-to-end control of production assets at release of metallurgical products.
Within the project implementation of the following tasks is planned:
- tracking in real time of technical and economic characteristics of products with the digital passport of a product;
- optimization of technology processes based on the analysis of collected information (15000+ of sources);
- optimization business processes based on the platform integration MES and ERP in a real mode of time;
- minimization of equipment downtimes and increase in an exit of suitable products.
The planned result from project implementation:
- increase in labor productivity for 10%;
- growth of energy efficiency by 20%;
- reduction of idle times for 15%.
Achievement of these results will be provided with application of a number of digital technologies: optical and laser 2D/3D video analytics, creation of a single digital platform and digital model of production lines and products, transition to production management on the basis of the deep analysis of Big Data from an APCS using artificial intelligence and machine learning, creation of an integration framework of MES and ERP in real time. A system will independently create "Digital passports of products".
"The solution developed by the partner of Skolkovo Foundation Data Center Automatic Equipment company belongs to modern production technologies and is capable to optimize management of technology processes on metallurgical production. We calculate that implementation of a pilot project by Abinsky Electric steelworks on the basis of this solution will lead to formation of the standard of industry practice and further the solution will be replicated on other Russian companies. It also has an export potential", 'Kirill Kai, the senior vice president for innovations of Skolkovo Foundation noted' |
"We intend to implement the complete list of actions provided by our strategy of digital transformation despite serious turbulence of economic processes. Implementation of application digital solutions and creation of smart production is a way to improving competitiveness and cost reduction. Also it is a good opportunity for approbation and improvement of domestic software products", 'Nikolay Besedin, the CEO of AEMZ noted' |
