On June 15, 2020 the Corus Consulting reported that he in the period of epidemic of COVID-19 configured remote access for 300 users of corporate network of a pharmproizvoditel of "BEPTEKC" based on the hardware and software system Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance. The used solution Cisco AnyConnect allows to be connected to a virtual private network of the company through the protected connection with enciphering of the transferred traffic.

Additional free two-factor authentication of users using one-time passwords increases safety of remote access and liquidates risks of unauthorized connection.

In the conditions of transition to remote work of pharmaceutical company "VERTEKS" it was necessary to provide the protected remote access to corporate tools at simultaneous connection to 300 employees. As the contractor for the solution of a task CORUS Consulting Group was selected.

Specialists of the IT company estimated features of the existing IT infrastructure of a pharmproizvoditel and selected the products Cisco for project implementation. For providing the high level of security the tool for two-factor identification using the Google application of Athenticator is implemented. All works and formation of the updated instructions for employees of "BEPTEKCA" occupied 2 working days.

Now at login each user enters two passwords. The first – from the corporate account. The second – the one-time password valid during 30 seconds which issues Google Authenticator.

Also additional setup of routing of traffic of remote workers became feature of the project. Now through VPN connection only that information which gets under security policies of the company is sent. If the user addresses the public websites, for example, of google.com or yandex.ru, traffic leaves through their local connection.
