On June 15, 2020 the MTS company announced providing cloud computing to the Belgorod state university for conducting remote educational activity. On the basis of a cloud platform #CloudMTS the system of e-learning of BELGU works.

From the middle of May, 2020 the Belgorod state university uses cloud services of MTS for the organization of distance learning. Based on a cloud platform systems for e-learning within which video conferences in an online format are carried out are started. For June 15, 2020 undergo online training in the university, more than 23 thousand students from all Russia and a number of foreign countries take sessions and examinations.

Our university purchased a cloud service in connection with growth of requirement of receiving additional resources for transfer of training to online mode. Purchase of the IT equipment and servers occupies rather progressive tense therefore use of a cloud was for educational process excellent help of operational transfer of students to remote education. MTS provided us service of the necessary volume literally within a day, some more hours went on transfer to a cloud of necessary information resources. As a result we received service for the organization of online training within only two days, - the director of the department of information technology development of NIU "BELGU" Yury Banchuk noted.
