2020: Expansion of production capacity of the medicine "Gidroksikhlorokhin"

On June 16, 2020 the company " Announced joint-stock Kurgan company of medications and the products "Synthesis" (enters into AFK "Sistema", a shareholder is also Nacimbio of State Corporation Rostec) expansion of production capacity of the medicine "Gidroksikhlorokhin" recommended by the Russian Ministry of Health in protocols of treatment of a koronavirusny infection.

For June, 2020 Gidroksikhlorokhin it can be made as on the platform of Biokom Ltd (the Sintez subsidiary company, owns the registration certificate on medicine) in Stavropol, and at the plant of Sintez in Kurgan. Totally these two plants can release up to 300,000 packagings of Gidroksikhlorokhin a week. At the same time Bioky which in April-May, 2020 was released mainly by Gidroksikhlorokhin will be able to resume production of other medicines according to the diagram.

Expansion of capacities for production "Gidroksikhlorokhina" at the expense of a technology transfer on the platform of Synthesis in Kurgan will allow to satisfy the needs of the Russian health care for medicine in case rates of distribution of COVID-19 will accelerate again. It will also provide the continuity of deliveries to retail market - this medicine is applied to treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and a red volchanka. Since April, 2020 we directed about 650 thousand packagings of Gidroksikhlorokhin to hospitals of different regions of Russia. • In April, 2020 "Sistema-Biotekh", AFK Sistema subsidiary company, received the registration certificate of Roszdravnadzor on the test system intended for laboratory diagnosis of a koronavirusny infection. In May the company signed the contract with the Moscow Department of Healthcare for delivery to 1 million test systems and started registration laboratory clinical trials of a rapid test which will allow to diagnose within 30 minutes a coronavirus infection in the mobile mode, including at the enterprises.
• Since April 1 the flagman hospital of MEDSI - Clinical hospital in Otradnoye - is reorientated in infectious diseases hospital to 430 beds. Costs for re-equipment, personnel training and treatment of patients with COVID-19 made about 100 million rubles. Since April 1 1500 patients recovered from COVID-19 and pneumonia in MEDSI Hospital in Otradnoye.
• Pharmaceutical assets of AFK "Sistema" - Synthesis, and Alium - provide needs of the population and a hospital segment with available drugs for treatment of COVID-19 and the accompanying pathologies. More than 40 medicines of Synthesis and Alium - in the list of medicines of the Ministry of Health for treatment and prevention of a koronavirusny infection.
• At the Alium plant in Zelenograd the production site for trial series of the vaccine against a coronavirus developed by NITsEM of Gamalei of the Ministry of Health prepares. It will allow to provide in the accelerated mode vaccination of the main risk groups in Russia, in case of successful clinical trials of vaccine.
• The Vologda textile plant reorientated the capacities to production of means of protecting from an infection. For April - May more than 1 million reusable hygienic masks are made.

• MTS and Medsi started free online consultations of duty therapists and pediatricians through telemedicine service SmartMed for all residents of Russia. Besides, Medsi implemented a system for operational monitoring of quality of care after patients using artificial intelligence in clinical hospital "Medsi" in Otradnoye.
