2020: Use of Solar Dozor for protection against information leaks

MKU the Center of information technologies of the city district "city of Yakutsk" (further MKU "CIT") implemented protection of the state information and communication infrastructure of the city against date leaks. Implementation of the Solar Dozor DLP system in all structural divisions of administration of Yakutsk became technical solution. On June 18, 2020 Rostelecom-Solar reported about it.

A founder of MKU "CIT" is the District city administration of Yakutsk. One their main objectives of the Center – security of local state information resources from different threats. For protection against leaks the basic module Dozor Core which is responsible for implementation of basic functions of the Solar Dozor system – filtering and data storage, search and event management and incidents of information security and also mechanisms of maintaining the file of persons was selected. Besides, the organization uses modules interceptors of mail and network traffic, monitoring of activity of employees at workstations, inspections of file storages regarding abuse of regulations of storage of confidential information.

Full control over movement and document storage of limited access using flow analysis of data and inventory of network and local file storages became a priority which the customer solved after start of use of a system. Besides, implementation of Solar Dozor allowed MKU "CIT" to fulfill the requirements of regulators for protection of the state information systems regarding monitoring of results of registration of events of security and response to them.

At a stage of pilot operation we noted for ourselves high efficiency of a system in terms of identification of incidents, simple interactive reports in real time on all metrics and channels, convenient instruments of work with events and persons. Notable advantage is also the high performance of the solution, – Bravina Agrafena Vlasyevna, the head of department of information technical protection of MKU "CIT" noted.

In further MKU "CIT" is going to add to the arsenal the module Dozor Dossier for advanced analytics of persons and investigation of incidents of information security.
