For the end of December, 2019 in bodies of the employment service of the population of the Kurgan region 6193 persons who are not occupied with a labor activity stayed on the registry, 5688 people had the status of the unemployed. The number of the unemployed in comparison with the same period of last year decreased by 3.4% (on 201 persons).

The average cash income of the population of the area for January-December, 2019 made 21185 rub or 104.2% by the same period of last year. A real cash income decreased by 1% in comparison with 2018.

In January-December, 2019 the average monthly nominal accrued payroll of employees of the organizations was 30418.2 rub (107.1% to the level of 2018). The real wage (corrected on inflation) increased by 2.5% by January-December, 2018.

2020: Reduction of population for January-March, 2020 on 2352 persons

The population of the Kurgan region for January-March, 2020 was reduced by 2352 persons and for April 1, 2020 was 824.8 thousand people.

Natural losses of the population for January-April, 2020 made 1831 persons. In January-April, 2020 in the Kurgan region 2350 babies – reduction of number been born for 6.3% (157 people) in comparison with the corresponding period of last year were born, died 4181 persons. The number of the dead exceeded number been born in 1.8 times.

In January-March, 2020 in comparison with the corresponding period of previous year the number of left increased by 107 people. The number of arrived was reduced by 102 persons in comparison with January-March of previous year. Migration decline in population for January-March, 2020 was 952 persons, 142%.

The population of the Kurgan region for January-December, 2019 was reduced by the 7639th person and for January 1, 2020 was 827.1 thousand people.

Natural losses of the population made 5031 persons. In January-December, 2019 in the Kurgan region 7683 babies – reduction of number been born for 11.1% (955 people) in comparison with the corresponding period of last year were born, 12714 people died. The number of the dead exceeded number been born in 1.7 times.

In January-December, 2019 in comparison with last year there was a decrease in migration decline in population by 59.8%. Since the beginning of year in the region there arrived 29820 people, 32428 people left, losses from population shift were 2608 the person.
