2020: The announcement of the implanted cardiomonitor for control of a warm rhythm
At the end of June, 2020 Boston Scientific announced the output of the implanted Lux-Dx cardiomonitor equipped with technologies of check of parameters for providing exact data.
Innovation represents the implanted diagnostic device which should reveal the violations of a warm rhythm connected with fibrillation of auricles, a cryptogene stroke and a syncope.
Lux-Dx is supplied with a two-stage algorithm which detects and rechecks potential arrhythmias before sending warning to doctors. In the device the data management system of Latitude Clarity which is programmed remotely is used and allows doctors to configure settings of detection of certain events. In general, the Lux-Dx system should accelerate adoption of important clinical solutions in emergency situations, the producer claims.
The two-stage algorithm can be programmed on identification of fibrillation of auricles, tremblings of auricles, different types of blockade, bradycardia and episodes of tachycardia. The algorithm also allows the device to reveal the arrhythmias connected with exceeding of the set threshold values. Additional levels of test filters should reveal false operations of a system.
The mobile device with the pre-installed application of MyLux which is connected through Bluetooth to the Lux-Dx device is also provided to patients. The application can transfer data daily or as required to Latitude Clarity data management system, access to which the attending physician and health workers who are directly performing care of the patient has.
Boston Scientific announced that it begins limited release of a system on the market of the USA, and the full release on the international scene is expected at the end of 2020.[1]
