SAP Quality Management is a part of the SAP R/3 system and is integrated with other modules of SAP.
It performs the following key functions by production of goods:
Quality planning – Quality planning allows to plan check of goods from the supplier, raw materials, work in progress and an end product.
Notifications on quality – the Notification on quality includes identification of defect and steps which the department of quality should undertake.
Quality check – results of quality are fixed here and the decision on whether it is necessary to accept or reject a control batch is made.
