Pyaterochka tests the smartwatch for employees on the basis of IoT and the AI solution of Lanit

2020: Solut system testing in 2 shops of Voronezh

X5 Retail Group announced on June 30, 2020 that the retail chain stores Pyaterochka test the intelligent system of monitoring of manual labor of SOLUT created in LANIT Group. The solution will allow to improve labor productivity by creation using artificial intelligence of models of recognition of actions of the employee during the working day and also to raise RTO of shop.

The pilot of SOLUT technology started in two shops of network in Voronezh. Employees were provided with the special smartwatch. Devices, by analogy to sports trackers, accumulate data on movements of workers during change and transfer them to a recognition subsystem on the basis of technology of Internet of Things (IoT). The models of recognition of SOLUT created on the basis of these data will daily collect statistics on manual activities, will analyze labor costs of workers, will check quality of execution of operations of support of work of shop. In perimeter of a pilot project - all personnel of shop: sellers-cashiers, administrative personnel.

A system will also allow to fix movements and activity of each worker, to carry out comparison with standards, the analysis on distribution of labor costs in man-hours with detailing on days to working hours that as a result will give the chance for effective planning and distribution of workload between personnel.

Until the end of 2020 to the project it is going to connect 30 more shops of network. The decision on further scaling will be made based on the pilot.

Application of IoT and AI solutions in networks of our shops is directed first of all to quality excellence of accomplishment of crucial processes on places and optimization of different transactions. It is sure that using the innovative technologies we will manage to increase efficiency at the expense of the detailed analysis, application of best practices and implementation of optimum constructed algorithms of accomplishment of daily tasks of staff of shops.

Our technology will allow Pyaterochka to improve approach to assessment and motivation of staff of shop, to reveal the best practices and to scale them. The SOLUT system gives the chance as much as possible "perfect" processes in shop, and control further following to high standards. What is especially important, a System is profitable as well to workers, it allows most objectively, without intervention of the person to measure and estimate their working achievements and the involvement.
