2020: Start of alternative channels of contact with Visa and MasterCard

Within implementation of the infrastructure project on ensuring level of reliability and fault tolerance in work of a processing center KartStandart additional communication channels with international payment systems of Visa and MasterCard are constructed and brought into operation. On June 30, 2020 CFT reported about it.

The alternative channel of communication (Disaster Recovery Site) is the hardware and software system providing a protsessirovaniye of transactions on cards of Ministry of Railways and allowing not only to support a heavy load, but also to be insured possible effects of local technogenic catastrophe around location of the center of processing data (DPC).

The alternative channel includes fiber optic communication lines to two DPCs of PTs "KartStandart", the server and routers and also the corresponding network architecture and allows to protsessirovat bank card transactions in parallel with the basic, evenly distributing loading.

The services provided to PTs "KartStandart" are crucial for our partner banks as the stable and continuous protsessirovaniye of transactions on cards is a basis of card business. Taking into account the growing customer base and continuously increasing number of services and the services provided to PTs "KartStandart" the decision on need of ensuring additional level of safety in operation of processing was made. The reputation of PTs "KartStandart" as one of representatives of the market of processing services imposes on us the corresponding obligations for reliability assurance and fault tolerance of our systems and services, and project implementation on creation of alternative channels of contact with Visa and MasterCard – an important step for consolidation of uninterrupted operation of our work, – the director of PTs "KartStandart" Maya Glotova comments.
