B of Russia is started a software package for recovery of the speech after transactions
At the beginning of July, 2020 the Tomsk state university of management systems and radio electronics (TSUCSR) announced creation of a software package on recovery of the speech of the oncological patients who underwent oral cavity operation and a rotoglotka. A system is developed together with scientific research institute of oncology of the Tomsk NIMTs with grant support of the Russian scientific fund.
As reported on TSUCSR, the developed technique of recovery of the speech using technical methods and mathematical modeling will help to reduce rehabilitation term through independent trainings, to increase efficiency of rehabilitation, to improve social adaptation and quality of life.
Successful speech rehabilitation requires objective quantitative quality evaluation of the speech of the patient in the course of the recovery period. It allows to reveal problem phonemes and to estimate quality of the held trainings during the work on them, emphasized in university.
There also noted that techniques according to phrase legibility at the time of the beginning of a research had no even basic automation. They required considerable inclusion in process of the expert that does not exclude the subjectivity connected with a human factor. Foreign analogs of the program, even on condition of their emergence, directly to apply in Russia also there is no opportunity because of fundamental differences of a phonetic system of different languages.
In process we aim to recover those sounds which dropped out of the speech, bringing closer the level of speech recognition of the patient to the standard taken prior to surgical treatment — the executive in charge of the project, the associate professor of complex information security of electronic computing systems of TUSUR Evgeny Kostyuchenko reported. |
By July 6, 2020 the rehabilitation course using a software package was completed by more than 20 patients of scientific research institute of oncology of the Tomsk NIMTs.[1]
