2020: Plans of upgrade of a video surveillance system
The child structure of Megafon upgrades a video surveillance system in Sochi. It became known on June 10, 2020.
The company "Nat Bai Nat Holding" will update the surveillance cameras connected to HSC "Safe city". Works will be performed within the public contract. According to terms of the contract, the contractor should replace devices with more modern, broadcasting the image in permission UltraHD 4K.
Besides, the company upgrades the server hardware and will strengthen a core of a data network that will give an additional stock of performance for further development and expansion of the Safe City system. The updated equipment will increase efficiency of operators of the situational center thanks to modern program technical means and surveillance cameras with high resolution.
The Safe City system was unrolled by PJSC MegaFon after the signed agreement with administration of Sochi. The project includes more than 1500 surveillance cameras. Data from them through the protected network with capacity of 40 Gbit are transferred to the city situational center. Total length of a transport network of communication – more than 500 kilometers of fiber lines.
Nat Bai Nat Holding LLC in the round-the-clock mode performs technical support of video surveillance systems, communication channels and two data centers with own subsystem of back supply[1].
