On July 13, 2020 it became known of collaboration of Microsoft and Samsung. Within cooperation of the company are going to solve the problems connected with digital development of real estate field and its management.

The companies want to integrate functionality IoT- the platform Azure and cloud services of Microsoft with intelligent devices of Samsung and the platform SmartThings. It will allow to optimize operation of buildings, hardware maintenance, energy management, performance of assets and also in general to improve experience of interaction with objects of specialists in their service and residents.

It is expected that use of intelligent household devices of Samsung, the HVAC systems and smart TVs integrated from SmartThings together with Microsoft Azure Digital Twins technology and Microsoft Dynamics 365 service will allow to improve service and management of buildings by aggregation and data analysis of IoT from their systems and connected to them to devices. For example, using this new opportunity managers will be able to create the integrated panel of monitoring of the devices connected to SmartThings, including refrigerators, washers, conditioners for the solution of the related problems in real time that will allow to prevent failure, to save time and resources.

Samsung considers that cooperation with Microsoft is necessary for innovations as this company separates vision of how it is necessary to inspire to achieve conversion of future world through the innovation ideas in technologies. Moreover, cooperation will allow the companies to expand the IoT-technologies on the new markets by means of the organization of joint marketing campaigns, without spending at the same time millions for involvement of new clients.[1]
