2023: Obtaining the status of the national center for filling Russia

In March 2023, the national sealing operator was determined in Russia. It was the Center for the Development of Digital Platforms (CRTP).

2022: Revenue reduction by 20% to RUB 221.2 mln

LLC "Center for the Development of Digital Platforms" (CRTP), the Russian operator of the system for tracking the transit of sanctioned goods by road and rail with GLONASS seals across the territory of the Russian Federation, in 2022 recorded a decrease in revenue by 20% - to 221.2 million rubles. Such data are given in the financial report released in mid-March 2023.

As noted by Interfax, the turnover of the CRCP consists of revenues from services for the imposition and removal of electronic navigation seals, their lease for monitoring the transportation of goods. Revenue from the main activity (provision of services for the transportation of sanctioned goods in the Russian Federation) in 2022 decreased by 23% compared to the previous year. This is primarily due to the current geopolitical situation. The net loss of the CRTP reached 544.2 million rubles, which is 21.3% compared to 2021.

On March 30, 2023, it became known that the CRTP was identified as the national sealing operator. The use of an electronic navigation seal will ensure control over the transit of goods through the EAEU, reduce the time for customs procedures, increase the safety of transportation, improve the collection of information and analytical data by federal executive bodies and increase the effectiveness of decisions made on their basis, including to improve infrastructure. It is noted that vehicles that move in two or more countries and transport goods subject to the customs transit procedure will be sealed. In addition, the CRTP will continue to track the transit transportation of sanctioned groups of goods through the territory of Russia.

Transportation will be monitored in the information systems of national operators, which will be integrated among themselves for the exchange of information on transportation. Thus, the control and supervisory authorities will see the exact location of the sealed vehicles, as well as respond to abnormal situations on the way, - notes the CRTP.[1]
