Rentberry — the startup based by Ukrainians developing the service of the same name for lease of housing. Viewing the apartment, agreement signature and monthly payments happen online. On the website it is possible to offer the price for the apartment, literally turning process of delivery lease into an auction. At first the platform worked only in the USA, but further it was started in Europe and Asia.

History

2020: Attraction of $4.5 million investments

In the middle of July, 2020 about $4.5 million investments became known of attraction by Rentberry company. It is more than a half of this amount — $2.3 million — it was succeeded to collect on the platform WeFunder from more than 2.2 thousand private investors.

Among the investors who took part in a round of financing of Rentberry — Angel Investors Marlborough fund, the partner of McKinsey & Company Srikant Inampudi and also the CEO of Invesque company Scot Vayt. The round was closed on June 29, 2020.

As the co-founder of a startup Alexey Lyubinsky specified in a conversation with the Ain.ua edition, it was the third investment round for Rentberry.

On WeFunder it is possible to invest from $100, and then to receive reports and dividends, but the platform does not give any guarantees to microinvestors — if the startup goes bankrupt, then money will not return.

The service of lease of housing founded by Ukrainians attracted $4.5 million completely to eliminate realtors

The company intends to spend the received means on start of the VR tool which, according to developers, should eliminate completely realtors and intermediaries from process of lease of housing.

As of $ on July 16, 2020 the total amount of the attracted Rentberry of investments is $13 million, the number of employees — 30. All Rentberry command, including founders (Alexey Lyubinsky, Lilia Ostapchuk, Alexander Kotovskov and Denis Golubovsky), from Ukraine.

On the platform 6 million objects worldwide and 900 thousand users from whom — 292 thousand people use service at least once a month are registered.[1]
